RCS is able to design and build extension springs from 0.015" to 0.630" diameter wire. Infinite hook variations are manufactured as well as extension assemblies with coned or threaded terminals.
A torsion spring is a type of helical spring that stores and releases angular energy by exerting a rotational or torque force when its ends are twisted. It works by using its ends, called legs, to apply force as they rotate, returning the component to its original position once the force is released.

Clock springs or spiral springs are a mechanical device made of a flat metal strip or wire wound into a spiral or helix shape that stores and releases rotational energy. One end is typically fixed to an axle, and the other end is free to move, allowing it to store energy when wound and release it when the force is removed.
RCS designs and manufactures clock springs from 0.005" up to 0.200" thick materials. These springs are also known as spiral torsion or hair springs.
A Belleville or wave washer, also called a disc spring or conical spring washer, is a conical-shaped metal washer with an open center that can be loaded along its axis to create a spring force.
For high load applications with a small installation space, RCS can design and build custom belleville or wave washers.
