Renton Coil Spring has purchased several new pieces of equipment in the last couple years. Now that we have
the floor space to optimize our production flow, we will be continuing to bring in equipment to better serve our
customers by providing improved quality, efficiency and capability. Notably we have two new multi-axis spring generators
and a 5 axis CNC coiler. These machines work with wide range of wire, from .010 to .275 but through sophisticated
controls and tooling are able to produce many complex spring types that used to require several discrete operations.
Now with one setup we can produce complex parts to tight tolerances in one operation. This eliminates multiple
setups and higher costs. We have also purchased a very accurate press-brake for forming flat parts to exacting
requirements. Our capacity in basic throughput has been augmented by the addition of three new ovens, a new grit
blast machine and larger compressor.
